The story of Radiotechnika began in January 1947 with the founding of a workers’ cooperative. Among its pioneers were former employees of Elektrit, a renowned pre-war radio company from Vilnius. In the 1950s, the cooperative produced radio receivers and later expanded into the development of precision measuring instruments.

In 1951, Radiotechnika developed and launched into mass production the first Polish car radio receivers (OS-1, OS-2), as well as full-range superheterodyne receivers (SPR-1, SPR-2). Just a year later, in 1952, the company introduced the first Polish cathode-ray oscilloscope (OKR-1). A landmark moment came in 1955, when Radiotechnika engineers designed and installed the very first experimental television relay station, placed at the summit of Szrenica in the Karkonosze Mountains.
Pioneering ventures
Radiotechnika was also a pioneer in the production of ultrasonic diagnostic instruments such as defectoscopes and concrete testers. Between 1965 and 1975, the company developed and manufactured advanced military equipment for electronic map transmission via radio—known as synoptographs (RHF-3)—as well as specialized radio receivers (ODF) and AM-FM converters (KFM).
In 1973, Radiotechnika was granted the status of a state-owned enterprise. Until the 1990s, it was a leading manufacturer of electronic measuring instruments and professional automotive diagnostic equipment, including exhaust gas analyzers. In Poland, the Radiotechnika name became synonymous with top-level technical expertise, outstanding quality, and proven reliability.

The mid-1990s brought widespread ownership transformations across Poland, and Radiotechnika was no exception. Out of this process emerged Radiotechnika Serwis Sp. z o.o., established as an independent business entity. The new company began operating on July 1, 1995, taking over all assets essential to its mission. Along with material resources, it inherited a skilled workforce, a strong technical culture, well-established work organization, and long-standing business relationships.
Between 1995 and 2010, the company focused on servicing and repairing equipment manufactured by the former Radiotechnika. During this period, it also expanded its scope of services to include the repair and maintenance of devices produced by other manufacturers.
The evolution of our services shows no sign of slowing down. In recent years, the driving force behind this transformation has been the rapid development of green energy technologies, opening up entirely new opportunities for the company.
